Key Responsibilities:
Lead and manage hospital engineering operations including facilities, M&E systems, and biomedical support
Ensure continuous, safe, and compliant operation of critical hospital infrastructure (HVAC, medical gases, power, water, fire protection)
Plan and oversee preventive and corrective maintenance to support 24/7 clinical operations
Ensure compliance with healthcare regulations, safety standards, and accreditation requirements
Manage contractors, vendors, and service agreements for engineering and facility services
Support commissioning, renovation, and expansion projects with minimal disruption to patient care
Collaborate with clinical, infection control, safety, and IT teams on operational requirements
Develop and implement SOPs, emergency response plans, and downtime procedures
Manage engineering budgets, assets, and lifecycle planning
Report operational performance, incidents, and improvement initiatives to management
Key Requirements:
BSc. in Mechanical Engineering or NDT (Mechanical Engineering) or equivalent qualification
Strong working knowledge of MEP systems, including HVAC
Minimum 5 years post-qualifying experience in engineering operations
Experience in hospital or healthcare engineering environments
Knowledge of healthcare regulations, safety standards, and compliance requirements
Proven leadership and contractor management skills
Ability to manage multiple projects and 24/7 operational demands
Strong coordination, reporting, and problem-solving skills
